World Patient Safety Day 2024: Engaging Patients for Patient Safety

In celebration of World Patient Safety Day, the Association of Representatives of Ethical Pharmaceutical Industries (AREPI), in collaboration with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) of Ghana, is organizing a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training event on 13 September 2024. The event will focus on this year's theme, "Engaging Patients for Patient Safety," highlighting the critical role that patient involvement plays in ensuring safe and effective healthcare. The training will feature a keynote presentation by Adela Ashie from the FDA, alongside engaging discussions on best practices, patient engagement strategies, and the use of technology, including the MedSafety app.

 

Healthcare professionals are encouraged to attend this insightful event, which will provide practical guidelines and innovative tools to enhance patient safety in their daily practice.
