Jennifer Asaman, MD, is a dedicated and self-motivated doctor with over twelve years of experience in the medical field. Her journey from a junior house officer to a specialist pediatrician reflects her passion and commitment to her work. Jennifer has acquired extensive knowledge and skills in managing pediatric cases, and she is a strong advocate for newborn health in Ghana. She is registered with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council and is in good standing.

Jennifer has pursued various educational qualifications to enhance her expertise. She has studied Health Administration and Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, and she is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health at the Catholic University College of Ghana. She has also completed courses in Leadership and Management in Health at the University of Washington and a postgraduate program in Pediatric Nutrition at Boston University School of Medicine. Her foundational medical education includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from KNUST.

In her professional career, Jennifer serves as the Treasurer of the Pediatric Society of Ghana, a female executive member of the Ghana Medical Association, and the Bono Regional Newborn Focal Person. She holds key roles at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital, including Clinical Coordinator, Quality Improvement focal person, and Pediatrician Specialist.
