The quality of drugs we give to our patients is very important today. Patient recovery is not only determined by the precision of diagnosis but also the quality of the drug(s) prescribed. The presence of substandard, falsified medical products and unregistered/unlinked drugs have become very common in our society.
We need to, as practitioners, be able to identify and choose correctly the right medication needed to promote the health of our patients.
This has informed the need for Servier Laboratories to design and deliver this training program to enlighten prescribers, pharmacists and other relevant stakeholders on the Battle Of Quality; This is hoped to lead to a better understanding of the role of prescribers, pharmacists and other stakeholders in providing a complete cycle of quality healthcare.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to
1. Understand quality
2. Understand the role of a prescriber
3. Know the main destinations of drugs of uncertain quality
4. Identify who is responsible to attest the quality of drugs
5. Be informed on the process to validate the quality of a drug
