This course is intended to equip participants with an understanding of tissue processing, the steps involved, the importance of proper tissue preparation, and techniques as a prerequisite for successful practice in the production of histological slides.
At the end of this course, participants will learn or improve their knowledge on:
• Methods of tissue processing
• Steps involved in tissue processing
• Schedules for processing different types and sizes of tissues
• Detect faults associated with tissue processing and how to overcome them
