The "Take Diabetes to Heart" is a meticulously curated scientific event designed to delve into the intricate relationship between diabetes and heart disease, two prevalent health concerns globally. The role of SGLT2 inhibitors in the management of T2DM & CKD; Current Data: Delve into the latest research and clinical data surrounding the efficacy and safety profile of SGLT2 inhibitors in managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of their therapeutic benefits and potential applications.

 

2. CV complications of T2DM beyond HBA1c control: Explore the cardiovascular complications associated with T2DM beyond glycemic control, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of diabetic cardiomyopathy, vascular dysfunction, and other critical factors contributing to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in diabetic patients.

 

3. Management of Lipids in T2DM, the role of statins: Navigate through the intricacies of lipid management in T2DM, with a special emphasis on the role of statins in reducing cardiovascular risk and optimizing patient outcomes. Attendees will gain valuable insights into evidence-based approaches to lipid-lowering therapy tailored to the diabetic population.
