The 6th Annual General Scientific Meeting (AGSM) of the Ghanaian Society of Cardiology (GSC) promises a comprehensive exploration of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCD) under the theme "Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease: A Silent Killer." Over the course of two days, participants will delve into critical topics such as the epidemiology, risk factors, pathophysiology, primary and secondary prevention of ASCD. Additionally, the event will provide clinical insights into Chronic Coronary Syndrome, Carotid Artery Disease and Stroke, Erectile Dysfunction, Peripheral Artery Disease, and The Role of Imaging in ASCVD.
This clinical symposium is tailor-made for Internists, Family Physicians, Residents, Medical Officers, and Emergency Physicians. The agenda reflects a commitment to fostering a nuanced understanding of ASCD and its multifaceted manifestations, with a focus on practical approaches to diagnosis and management.
