Suzette Arostegui BS, MS

Suzette Arostegui is an analytical, organized, and results-driven quality professional with over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech quality assurance. Holding a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, Suzette possesses a robust set of transferable skills and expertise across multiple segments within the industry. She is adept at working in matrix environments and has a proven track record of leadership and problem-solving skills, consistently turning challenges into improvement projects.

In her current role as Head of Gyroscope QA Processes and Excellence within Novartis Gene Therapies, Suzette leads complex global projects and quality initiatives, providing quality oversight with scientific and technical guidance. Since Gyroscope's integration into Novartis, she has been instrumental in supporting the establishment of Quality Integration Plans and ensuring the effective implementation of Novartis’ Quality Management Systems (QMS) and applicable regulatory standards.

Suzette's key responsibilities include fostering open and effective communication with stakeholders, prioritizing and resolving issues, and representing QA at relevant forums. She also leads the Gyroscope Quality Council and actively supports QMS integration activities, demonstrating her commitment to driving organizational excellence.

Prior to her current role, Suzette served as the Head of QA and Operations at Gyroscope Therapeutics, where she was tasked with building the quality organization and implementing a culture of quality within the company. Her accomplishments in this role include the implementation of quality councils and review boards, as well as the redesign of vendor selection and qualification processes to streamline workflow.

Suzette's educational background includes a Board Certified Chemist designation and degrees in Organic Chemistry and Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico. Her academic foundation, coupled with her extensive industry experience, positions her as a highly capable and knowledgeable leader in the field of quality assurance within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
