Ernest commenced his professional journey as a Theatre Pharmacist, progressing to the role of Shift Manager for the National Cardiothoracic Pharmacy at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. His transition into the legal field saw him establishing the Legal Unit at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital as its first Internal Solicitor, where he provided invaluable legal counsel for several years. This experience paved the way for his significant contributions to the banking sector, including his roles as General Counsel at the National Investment Bank and Head of Legal at Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited. He also served as the Team Lead and Deputy Head of Corporate Counsel at Access Bank Ghana Plc.

His career is marked by his dynamic approach to legal practice, combining strategic leadership and advocacy skills with a deep commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity. As the Head of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) Disciplinary Committee, he plays a pivotal role in maintaining high ethical standards within the profession.

Ernest's cross-functional knowledge spans nearly 25 years, encompassing pharmacy, health and hospital management, corporate and commercial law, litigation, banking, finance, and organizational development. His passion for litigation has seen him represent clients across all levels of the superior courts in Ghana, handling a diverse array of commercial, land, and labour cases. He is an esteemed member of both the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana and the Ghana Bar Association, where he actively contributes to various committees and executive roles.
