Miriam is a Registered General Nurse with experience in Nursing Practice, Education, Administration, and Regulation.

She obtained her Nursing qualifications (Bachelor of Arts in Nursing with Psychology and a Diploma in Nursing) in 2015 and 2016 respectively from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma Certificate in International Paediatric Nursing from Belgium. A practice area where she has made many contributions and has significant experience.

Miriam obtained a Master of Public Health qualification with specific emphasis on Health Policy Planning and Management; from the School of Public health, University of Ghana, Legon. She has also perused and successfully completed a Post Graduate Degree in Education from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

She has been a lecturer at the Health Assistants Training School – Wa (Ghana), and at the Holy Family Nursing Training College – Nkawkaw (Ghana), for significant periods. Miriam has worked at the Nursing and Midwifery Council for 10 years and is currently the Head of Department for Documentation and Publication.
