Mr. Felix Nyante is the Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. He has experience in Nursing and Midwifery Practice, Education, Administration, and Regulation for over thirty (30) years. Felix Nyante has contributed in strengthening sister nursing and midwifery regulatory bodies in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Tanzania, Ethiopia and The Gambia.

He has served on a number of Councils and Boards including the Regional Council for Health Professionals Education in the ECOWAS Region, Ministry of Health Advisory Board in Ghana, the Ho Teaching Hospital and the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives among others.

He has presented a number of papers at both local and international conferences and has some publications to his credit. He holds second degrees in Educational Administration and Public Administration from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) respectively.

He is also a Fellow of the West African College of Nursing and a Foundation Fellow of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives. Felix is a State Registered Nurse and a mentor to many Professional Nurses and Midwives including non-nurses

He is a Member of the Church of Pentecost National COVID-19 Technical Team. It is this Technical Team that worked in close collaboration with the Ministry of National Security and facilitated the release of the Pentecost Convention Centre to Government to be used as an Isolation Centre for COVID-19 positive clients.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council has seen tremendous growth and development since his appointment as the Registrar.
