Eunik Son, M.D., Ph.D., is an accomplished neurosurgeon with an extensive background in both clinical practice and academia. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Kyungpook National University, School of Medicine in Korea, followed by a residency in the Department of Neurosurgery at Keimyung University Hospital. Further advancing her expertise, she completed her Ph.D. at Kyungpook National University Graduate School.

Currently, Dr. Son is a dedicated volunteer neurosurgeon at GARH in Accra, Ghana, under the KOICA Global Doctor program, and at MCM General Hospital in Ethiopia. Her commitment to global health is evident in her volunteer work, where she brings critical neurosurgical services to underserved populations.

In addition to her clinical contributions, Dr. Son holds a prestigious academic position as a Professor of Neurosurgery at Addis Ababa University Hospital in Ethiopia. In this role, she is involved in training and mentoring future neurosurgeons, combining her extensive practical experience with her academic knowledge to foster the next generation of medical professionals.
