Dr. Yaw Adusi-Poku is a distinguished Public Health Specialist with a wealth of experience and expertise in Epidemiology and Disease Control. Currently serving as the National Programme Manager for Tuberculosis Control in Ghana, he plays a pivotal role in research, evaluation, planning, and the management of health programs. Dr. Adusi-Poku has been an integral part of the healthcare delivery system in Ghana, holding senior management positions since 2010.

His educational background is extensive, with degrees from reputable institutions such as the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and the University of Ghana Medical School. Dr. Adusi-Poku holds memberships in esteemed organizations, including the West African Regional Network of TB Scientists, Ghana Medical Association, and Ghana Public Health Association. His commitment to advancing public health is reflected in his numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals and his role as a reviewer for international journals.

In addition to his role as the National Programme Manager, Dr. Adusi-Poku is a dedicated part-time lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology, School of Public Health, University of Ghana, and a tutor at the Ghana Medical School. His responsibilities encompass a range of subjects, including Medical Scientific Communication, Advance Biostatistics, and Research Methods, at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Adusi-Poku's employment history includes a notable position as the Deputy Programme Manager at the National Tuberculosis Control Programme in Korle-Bu, Accra, where he oversees the implementation of clinical and public health interventions for tuberculosis and related diseases. His responsibilities extend to collaboration with international and private partners, as well as forecasting and procuring commodities for TB control.
