Dr Yakoba Atiase is the Director of the National Diabetes Management and Research Centre (NDMRC). She is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Medical School. Dr Atiase is a Case Reports reviewer for the British Medical Journal, a reviewer of the Ghana Medical Journal, and a Fellow of the Cardiovascular Research Training Institute -New York University.
She has held several high positions and have received international and national awards and recognition for her work. Her professional interest is centred on the Prevention of Diabetes mellitus and its complications. This is therefore an area she is globally recognized academically and professionally.
Dr Atiase has several local and international publication to her name.
