Dr. Rouba El Bacha is a highly qualified healthcare professional with a PharmD degree and an MPH in Health Services Management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom. Her passion and dedication to her work is reflected in her current position as the Medical Scientific Liaison and Medical Trainer at Pharaon Healthcare Africa PHA, Abbvie-Allergan in Beirut.
Her years of experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies including Janssen pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, Merck Sharp & Dohme MSD, Pfizer, and Schering Plough have equipped her with extensive knowledge in the industry. She has held various positions in all of these companies, showcasing her versatility and adaptability.
Dr. El Bacha's interpersonal skills make her an excellent team player with an eagerness to learn and develop new skills. In her current position as the Medical Scientific Liaison, Dr. El Bacha manages the Medical Affairs Department in PHA and has a regional responsibility covering various African countries. Her responsibilities include delivering medical information, providing scientific support to company Sales Representatives, organizing and participating in medical education activities, and executing medical review to ensure compliance with relevant company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements. She also networks with leading specialists to understand key value drivers and scientific activities within the therapeutic area and identifies and addresses the scientific needs of the medical community.
