Dr. Rita Patricia Frimpong-Mansoh brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of healthcare, currently serving as the Deputy Programme Manager at the National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP). In this role, she holds a key responsibility for the implementation of tuberculosis programs, demonstrating her commitment to public health initiatives. Prior to her current position, Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh served as the Municipal Director of Health Services at Kpone Katamanso Municipal Health Directorate.

As a medical officer, Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh worked at Ashaiman Polyclinic, where she not only provided medical care but also played a crucial role in establishing the Ashaiman TB Team, HIV Clinic, and Diabetic Clinic. Her dedication to community involvement in healthcare delivery is evident in her efforts to establish these essential clinics, showcasing her commitment to comprehensive and inclusive healthcare.

Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh's contributions extend beyond her immediate roles, as she actively participated in the Greater Accra Regional TB Team, facilitating tuberculosis activities in the region. Additionally, she provided assistance to the National Surveillance Department in national surveillance monitoring activities, further emphasizing her commitment to public health at both regional and national levels.

Her educational background is extensive, including membership in the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and degrees from the School of Public Health, University of Ghana Legon, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, and the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh's research interests primarily focus on the epidemiology of Tuberculosis and HIV, with a keen interest in Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis.

Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh is not only a dedicated practitioner but also a prolific researcher. Her diverse research portfolio includes studies on TB and COVID-19 bidirectional screening, operational research on the implementation of injectable free shorter regimens for drug-resistant TB cases, and the implementation of systematic tuberculosis disease screening and preventive treatment among people living with HIV in Ghana.

Throughout her employment history, Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh has consistently demonstrated her commitment to healthcare improvement. As Deputy Programme Manager at the NTP, she oversees program implementation, ensuring the timely delivery of efficient, safe, and quality healthcare. Her previous role as Municipal Director of Health Services saw notable achievements, including improvements in EPI indicators, the formation of a research team, and the establishment of a CHPS compound at Saduase.

In her clinical roles, Dr. Frimpong-Mansoh exhibited a high level of expertise, performing procedures such as non-traumatic lumbar puncture, intravenous line setting, monitoring of IV fluid therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
