Dr. Kwabena Onwona-Agyeman, is a highly dedicated Neonatologist with extensive experience in the fields of neonatal care and paediatrics. Currently, he is based at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, where he has made substantial contributions to the well-being of infants and children in Ghana.
His educational background is marked by a Fellowship in Neonatology from Tygerberg Children's Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa, which he completed in 2018. He also pursued a Post-Graduate Course in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Stellenbosch University, Cape Town, South Africa, in 2014. Dr. Onwona-Agyeman holds the MWACP qualification from the West Africa College of Physicians in Pediatrics (2006). His medical journey began with an MD from Lviv State Medical University, Lviv, Ukraine, in 1988.

Notably, he has served as an Attending Pediatrician at Lister Hospital in Accra, Ghana, from June 2010 to the present. In January 2019, he assumed the role of Neonatologist at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital. Furthermore, he completed a Neonatology Fellowship at Tygerberg from November 2016 to November 2018. His career in pediatrics also includes positions at Tema General Hospital from 2010 to 2016 and Koforidua Regional Hospital from 2006 to 2009.
