Dr. Henry Lawson is a pioneer consultant in Family Medicine in Ghana who has had extensive experience in medical education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is the foundation Chief Examiner for Registration examination for Physician Assistants under the Ghana Medical and Dental Council, an Inspector for Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, and a Council member of the West African College of Physicians.
He is also a member of the Technical Advisory Committee on Clinical Trials of the Food & Drugs Authority, Ghana and a member of the Africa Union Joint Signal Management Group which is monitoring COVID-19 vaccine safety across Africa. In addition, Henry was a member of a 4-member team that developed the concept note for the Medical Training and Practice Conference of the Medical and Dental Council in December 2021. He is currently the Vice Rector of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.
