Dr. Harold Ricketts Nixon MB ChB, MGCPS,

Dr. Harold Ricketts Nixon is a Radiologist at the Department of Radiology, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He has experience in diagnostic imaging, general medical practice, and specialist radiology services, with extensive exposure to surgical, medical, pediatric, obstetrics, and gynecological practice. He has worked within multidisciplinary healthcare teams and has developed strong analytical, administrative, and information technology skills in clinical practice.

He obtained a Fellowship in Radiology from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and also holds Membership in Radiology from the same institution. In addition, he completed Part One Membership in Radiology with the West African College of Surgeons. He earned an MB ChB in Medicine and Surgery from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a BSc in Human Biology from the same institution.

His academic and professional qualifications include: BSc (Human Biology), MB ChB, MWACS (Part One – Radiology), MGCPS (Radiology), and FGCPS (Radiology).

Dr. Nixon has served in several medical roles including House Officer, Medical Officer, and Resident in Radiology before assuming his current specialist role as a Radiologist at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He has also received recognition for excellence in radiology practice, including an award in musculoskeletal radiology.
