Gifty has held several leadership positions, including her current role as the Overall Head and Senior Specialist Pharmacist at the Greater Accra Regional Medical Stores. Here, she oversees all warehouse management processes, ensuring the efficient supply of cost-effective and quality medicines. She supervises teams, coordinates supply chain workflows, and champions transparent and ethical buyer-seller relationships. Her responsibilities also include inventory control, procurement, reporting, and ensuring supplier reliability to prevent shortages and stock-outs.

Previously, Gifty served as Deputy Head and Specialist Pharmacist in the same institution and in similar capacities at the Western Regional Medical Stores. Her roles have encompassed inventory management, staff training, order tracking, policy development, and supporting ERP system implementation. She also contributed significantly to the Essikadu Government Hospital, where she served in pharmacy management and patient services roles, honing her skills in client counseling, extemporaneous product preparation, and prescription auditing.

Her relevant experience includes membership in Ghana’s COVID-19 response team, the Family Planning Regional Resource Team, and the Logistics Management Information System (GHILIMS).
