Dr. George Henry Acquah is a Ghanaian medical doctor, computer scientist, public health practitioner, entrepreneur, and educator. He currently works as a Specialist Public Health Physician at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He also serves as Director of Artificial Intelligence & Digital Innovations for the Health Community of West Africa (HCOWA). His academic qualifications include MBChB, BSc Medical Sciences from the University of Ghana Medical School, an MPH (Policy & Economics) from the University of Ghana School of Public Health, and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Ghana. He holds the MWACP (Community Health) designation from the West African College of Physicians and in residency training in Diagnostic Radiology. His IT credentials include certificates in Python Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, Mathematics for Computer Science, and Computer Networks from the University of Ghana, a Certificate in Data Science & Machine Learning from MIT, and a Diploma in Robotics from Imperial College (ongoing). He is a lecturer in Community Health at the University of Ghana Medical School, lectures in Artificial Intelligence in Advanced Research Methods at the Ghana College of Physicians & Surgeons, and teaches Digital Medicine at Accra College of Medicine and Family Health Medical School. He is the proprietor and CEO of Checkpoint Multi-Specialist Medical Centre and founder of Henry's School of Artificial Intelligence, and also serves as Medical Advisor to Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd.
