
Fr. David F. Yankelevitz is a medical doctor and radiologist with specialized training in thoracic imaging and nuclear medicine. His work focuses on the diagnosis and management of lung disease, particularly in the context of early detection of lung cancer. He has led and contributed to a wide range of clinical and research initiatives that integrate advanced imaging techniques with patient care, including extensive involvement in lung biopsy services and national screening programs. In addition to his clinical practice, he has held numerous academic appointments and hospital leadership roles, contributing to education, ethics, quality assurance, and collaborative multidisciplinary care.
