This Continuing Education Training is a collaboration between Pfizer and the Government and Hospital Pharmacists Association (GHOSPA).
This is aimed at providing an understanding of the principles of infectious diseases management, an introduction to key qualities of selected antibiotics, and an overview of practices that have led to the development of antibiotic resistance and therapeutic failures. GHOSPA will use this program to inform all members about its CPD activities for the rest of 2022.
By the end of this training, participants are expected to:
1. become familiar with Novel Antibiotics, especially those for the management of Multi resistant organisms
2. be able to provide alternative treatment guideline options for selected infectious diseases
3. have understood the role of the Pharmacist in infectious disease management
4. Know how to review selected laboratory and vital statistics for infectious diseases management
