Venkata Subramani Ramakrishna is an energetic and motivated Supply Chain Professional with extensive consulting experience across diverse industries. He is passionate about developing sustainable processes and solutions through the effective combination of people and technology. With a proven track record of delivering complex solutions, both in consulting and project management roles, Venkata currently focuses on enhancing Master Data Processes and data set-up to support the entire Product Life Cycle at Novartis Pharma. He is driven by the goal of delivering lasting process improvements and business value by leveraging Information Technology solutions, particularly within the SAP ecosystem.

In his current role, based in Basel, Switzerland, Venkata Subramani Ramakrishna is part of a data analytics team within the Global Clinical Supply Organization at Novartis. He is responsible for delivering innovative data analytics solutions to support business taking data driven decisions and enable process automation. Prior to this responsibility, Mani played a key role in designing and implementing a data governance practice within the same organization. This included establishing data domains focusing on data quality management process and in identifying root causes and remediating the same in the respective domains such as demand, supply, inventory, logistics, manufacturing etc. In addition to his data governance role, Venkata actively supports other key initiatives, including MDG-M, Rapid Response-based Supply Planning etc. Currently, he is actively involved in the onboarding of a new IRT (Interactive Response Technology) vendor for Clinical Goods distribution and dispensation.

Venkata's skills encompass Webinars, Business Facilitation, Quality Assurance (QA), and Supply Chain Management, with particular expertise in Data Governance, SAP Master Data Governance, and Alteryx. He is proficient in English and possesses elementary proficiency in German, along with limited working knowledge of Hindi. His academic journey includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, an online non-credit course in Drug Development from the University of California San Diego, and certifications in Production and Inventory Management, Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, and the prestigious Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification.
