Prof. Safa Ezzidin Nuraddin Almukhtar FICMS (med), FICMS (Neph), FRCPE

Dr. Safa Ezzidin Nuraddin Almukhtar is a highly accomplished medical professional with a wealth of experience and qualifications in the field of medicine and nephrology.

He holds the titles of FICMS (med), FICMS (Neph), and FRCPE, and serves as a Lecturer at the College of Medicine, Department of Medicine.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Almukhtar is a Consultant Internist, Nephrologist, and Kidney Transplant Physician. He is the Program Director of Nephrology in the Kurdistan Board and the Medical Director of Kidney Transplant in Kurdistan.

Dr. Almukhtar also heads the Department of Nephrology at Hawler Teaching Hospital. His leadership roles extend to being the Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Iraqi Society of Kidney Disease and Transplantation, and the Vice President of the Arab Board of Kidney Disease and Transplantation (ASNRT).

He is also the Program Director of the Nephrology Subspeciality in the Arab Board in Nephrology in Kurdistan¹.

Dr. Almukhtar has made significant contributions to the field of nephrology and kidney transplantation through his numerous publications. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care is evident in his extensive work and commitment to his profession.
