Jacqueline Oduro Akoto BSc (Nursing), Dip (RGN)

Jacqueline Oduro Akoto is a Registered General Nurse with the Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Council. She has practiced for a period of thirteen (13) years in the surgical department of the Korle- Bu Teaching Hospital with key responsibilities in the assessment, planning, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with surgical ailments.

Her additional expertise includes the management and evaluation of breast cancer patients. She has worked in the surgical oncology unit for a period of 8years. I had internal training as a Certified Breast Care Nurse (BCN) for the breast oncology unit and have practiced as a BCN for five (5) years.

She is also an active member of the Breast Society of Ghana. She has the desire to have optimum knowledge in breast cancer and to provide quality care to patients through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
