Issabella Hagar Ashong is a Registered Nurse with experience in patient care, wound management, medication administration, and paediatric palliative care. She has worked at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital as a Senior Staff Nurse and Staff Nurse, where she has been involved in patient assessment, post-surgical monitoring, supervision of junior nurses and student nurses, and the delivery of evidence-based nursing care. She has also worked at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital as a Rotation Nurse, supporting patient care and clinical procedures across departments.
She has participated in several trainings and workshops in palliative care, pain assessment, and child health, and has contributed to research on contraceptive use among women of reproductive age.
