Dr Wakeel Olaide Lawal graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife with a bachelor’s degree in medicine (MB.CHB). He had his postgraduate training in Orthopaedics at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Lagos. He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS).
Dr Lawal had his Fellowship Certificates in Arthroplasty in India and Egypt. He also had short training courses in Arthroplasty in Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey and the United Arad Emirates (UAE).
