Dr. Vincent Ativor is a highly qualified Medical Doctor with a specialization in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. He is a Part-Time Senior Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Medicine and Dentistry, Kumasi, and Ghana College of Nursing and Midwifery.

He currently works as an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon, serving as the Head of Team D at the Directorate of Orthopaedics and Trauma, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, Ghana. He is also a Faculty member for AO Alliance Fracture Management Courses and Primary Trauma Care (PTC) courses. Furthermore, he serves as the National Chairman of AO Alliance Non-Operative Fracture Treatment course in Kumasi. He has also mentored and supervised residency training for the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and the West African College of Surgeons, WACS. Dr. Ativor has also tutored and examined students for the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, the West African College of Surgeons, and Ghana College of Nursing and Midwifery.

Dr. Ativor holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Central University Postgraduate Business School and has numerous postgraduate certificates in health management, trauma management, and leadership skills. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Human Biology from and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Medical Sciences KNUST-SMS.

Dr. Ativor has received several awards, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery Internal Fellowship Scholarship for Emerging Leaders and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons/ Foundations of Complex Orthopedics and Spine Surgery International Fellowship Scholarship. He was also awarded the OthoCarolina International Fellowship Scholarship for arthroplasty and the AOAF Paediatric Fracture Care Solution in Ghana for sponsoring the paediatric foot injury study at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

Dr. Ativor's sub-specialty areas include Advanced Trauma Management and Limb Reconstruction, Arthroplasty of Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Joints, and Sports Medicine, including Arthroscopy. He is an active member of various medical associations such as the Ghana Medical Association, Ghana Medical and Dental Council, Ghana Orthopedic Society, MOTEC Ghana/UK, International Affiliate Member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), International Member of AO Foundation/ AO Trauma, Orthopedic Trauma Association, West African Orthopedic Society, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAKHS).

Dr. Ativor has extensive teaching experience and has been teaching since 2016 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Medicine and Dentistry, Kumasi, and Ghana College of Nursing and Midwifery. He has also served as a tutor and examiner for various institutions since 2018.
