Dr. Raphael Adu-Gyamfi is a Public Health Physician and Programme Officer at the National AIDS/STI Control Programme of the Ghana Health Service. He supports the implementation of the comprehensive package of treatment care and support for persons living with HIV and is the focal person for differentiated service delivery (DSD) and pediatric and adolescent HIV at the Programme.
He has been involved in research and HIV-related projects since 2018 in various capacities. He has also been involved in clinical work, HIV/AIDS case management, curricula development and capacity building for service providers, health education and advocacy, research and grant proposal development, guidelines and protocol development, and monitoring and evaluating interventions.
He is a member of the HIV Technical Working Groups (TWG), the Paediatric task team, and other local and international technical committees. He played a key role with colleagues and stakeholders to secure funding to support HIV prevention and control response in Ghana from 2018 to date.
