Dr. Peter Forson Ackah MD, FICO, MRCSEd(Ophth), MGCS Specialist in Ophthalmology

Dr. Peter Forson Ackah is a highly qualified and experienced ophthalmologist based at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. With a Doctor of Medicine degree from Donetsk National Medical University, Ukraine, and further specialization as a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Currently serving as a Specialist in Ophthalmology, Dr. Ackah has extensive experience in managing various eye conditions, performing high-volume cataract surgeries, and training residents. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Ophthalmological Society of Ghana. Dr. Ackah is also involved in medical volunteer work, particularly in cataract outreach programs across Ghana. He is a co-author of several research publications in the field of ophthalmology. Dr. Ackah is proficient in English and has intermediate knowledge of Russian and German.
