Dr. Lily Pincho Wu, a highly esteemed Vascular Surgeon, currently holds the position of Consultant at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) in Ghana. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Wu has been serving in various capacities at KBTH, including roles as a Senior Specialist in General Surgery and Head of the Research and Training Unit. Her commitment to both clinical practice and academic pursuits is evident throughout her career.

Dr. Wu has an extensive educational background, having graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences and an MBChB. She furthered her studies, earning a Masters in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the University of Cape Town. Her dedication to continuous learning is reflected in her postgraduate training, including a Vascular Surgery fellowship at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.

As part of her commitment to education, Dr. Wu has been actively involved in teaching, serving as a part-time lecturer in Surgery at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana, since June 2011. She has also contributed to the medical community as Chief Instructor for Basic Surgical Skills at the Medical and Surgical Skills Institute (MSSI).

Dr. Wu's achievements include certifications from reputable institutions, such as the Certificate in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the Vascular Society of Southern Africa. She is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and holds membership in the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Beyond her clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Lily Pincho Wu is a prolific researcher with numerous publications and conference presentations to her name. Her research interests span diverse topics, including predictive factors in surgical outcomes, peripheral arterial disease, and chronic venous disease. Dr. Wu's dedication extends to service roles, where she has chaired the Ethics and Professionalism Committee at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Outside the medical realm, Dr. Wu finds solace in various hobbies, including jogging, swimming, sewing, and listening to music. Her multifaceted contributions to healthcare, education, and research exemplify her as a distinguished figure in the field of Vascular Surgery in Ghana.
