
Dr Kojo Awotwi Hutton‑Mensah is a Ghanaian physician specialist based at the Department of Medicine, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi. His clinical focus spans internal medicine with particular interests in diabetes, kidney disease and cardiovascular risk, reflected in a growing portfolio of peer‑reviewed publications on glycaemic control, haemodialysis utilisation and COVID‑19 outcomes. Alongside full‑time service delivery he teaches medical undergraduates and residents as a part‑time lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Medical Sciences, and he is actively progressing through the West African College of Physicians training pathway. Through these complementary roles he integrates bedside care, research and capacity‑building to strengthen chronic‑disease services within Ghana’s tertiary‑care setting.
