Evelyn Yayra Bonney, Ph.D., is a seasoned Virologist, Senior Research Fellow, and a key member of Ghana’s HIV Cure Research Team at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, University of Ghana, Accra. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Ghana with more than 18 years of HIV research experience. Her research interests include virus-host interactions, antiviral resistance, and HIV cure. She is a fellow of the International AIDS Society HIV Cure Research Academy. Dr. Bonney is funded by the NIH and Expertise France to study HIV latency, reservoir dynamics, and cure acceptability in African populations.
